Richard J. Lemoine is originally from Cottonport in Avoyelles Parish, LA and now resides on Poverty Point Lake in Delhi, LA and has lived in Northeast LA for over 20 years. He graduated from LSU (Geaux Tigers) in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management. He has worked 30 years in the timber business with vast experience both as a large company Forester, a timber company owner and forest consultant. He is associated with Brown Realty Co. of Rayville, Inc. and has a timber consulting practice. He does timber management for a select group of clients; helping in marketing timber and specializing in wildlife habitat improvement cuts. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman (fresh and saltwater). And enjoys reading and politics.
