Billy is a proven leader in the timber industry. For almost three decades, he has held numerous leadership positions within the industry- spanning timber buying, land management, land development, logging, and saw mill operations. Billy has been a long time member of the Louisiana Foresty association and the Mississippi State University professional logging program.
In 1994, Billy began his career as a full time timber buyer for J&N Timber company. During that time, he played a integral role in brokering and managing timber and land for private owners. In 1997, Billy started his own land and timber company- Woodhaven Corporation. He has spent the past twenty five years buying and developing hunting properties. He has also acquired, rehabilitated, and sold several privately held saw mills.
